We are pleased to announce that the Vice Consulate of Hungary in Vancouver has officially opened on December 21, 2018. The Vice Consulate is headed by Career Consul Tamás Török who will provide consular and public administration services in its consular district.
The Vice Consulate will be temporarily located at Suite 570 – 1285 West Broadway, Vancouver, BC, V6H 3X8. Starting the week of January 7, 2019 the customer service hours will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Please note that clients will need to call ahead and book an appointment in advance before visiting the Vice Consulate.
The Honorary Consulate General of Hungary in Vancouver, headed by André Molnár, and the Honorary Vice Consulate of Hungary in Vancouver, headed by Amália Szilágyi have officially closed on December 21, 2018. As of this date the provinces of Alberta and British Columbia, the Territory of Yukon and the Northwest Territories will be transferred from the jurisdiction of The Consular Office of the Embassy of Hungary in Ottawa to the Consulate General of Hungary in Toronto. The operations of the Vice Consulate of Hungary in Vancouver will be supervised by the Consulate General of Hungary in Toronto.
