Due to the epidemiological situation extramural consular days have been suspended until further notice. Thank you for your understanding.

What is the purpose of extramural consular days?

Extramural consular days make it possible for our clients, who live in the consular district of the Embassy (for details see below), to take care of official matters with much less travel when honorary consuls are not able to help them. First and foremost our consular visits try to facilitate applications for citizenship, vital statistics registry and passports. Other services are available, as well, with the exceptions being authentication and visa services.

Except for citizenship verification and naturalization applications we charge an extra service fee for all applications submitted outside of Ottawa in the consular district of the Embassy.

How can I register?

You can book an appointment at https://konzinfobooking.mfa.gov.hu/home. If there are no available dates, please send an email to consulate.ott@mfa.gov.hu, and specify

  • your name,
  • your phone number and e-mail address,
  • your preferred city/cities,
  • a short description of your case.

We will notify you if appointments become available.

Other services apart from the one(s) booked will not be provided. Please always bring downloaded and completed forms, all attachments, valid photo IDs, and the consular fees are payable by debit/credit card only. We do not accept cash or cheques.
