Deputy State Secretary for the Aid of Persecuted Christians, Tristan Azbej paid an official visit to Ottawa from June 12 to 14. He participated in a panel discussion at the workshop on persecuted Christians in the Middle East and Africa which was organized by the Embassy of Hungary at Cardus Ottawa. The panel focused on the situation of Christian communities and the best way to help them. Deputy State Secretary Azbej presented the pioneer work of the Hungarian government in this regard. During his visit the Deputy State Secretary met leaders of Christian Churches, representatives of civil organisations, politicians and had a meeting at Global Affairs Canada.
