Canada’s Cold War Museum presents two Hungarian exhibitions related to the 1956 Revolution and Freedom Fight from November 2nd to December 31st 2016. ‘For Freedom and Independence’ introduces visitors to the events of 1956 and commemorates the victims. ‘Hungarian Exodus’ shows the lives of those Hungarians who arrived in Canada after 1956. Many of them highly contributed to the development of their new home.

The exhibition launch was held on November 3rd in the presence of Ambassador Bálint Ódor, Jack MacLaren MLA of Ontario and Freedom Fighters of 1956.
