Commemoration and exhibition of 1956 at the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21, Halifax

On November 1st 2016 a commemoration was held at the Canadian Museum of Immigration on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the 1956 Revolution and Freedom Fight. After the speeches of Peter Pickersgill journalist, the son of late Jack Pickersgill Minister for Immigration, Marie Chapman, the Director of the museum, Bálint Ódor Ambassador and Jan Raska, Curator of the exhibition, the Csillagszeműek Children’s Folk Dance Ensemble presented their performance.
