Ambassador Bálint Ódor paid his first official visit to Saskatchewan.
The Ambassador met with Vaughn Solomon Schofield, Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan, Corey Tochor, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Jeremy Harrison, Minister of the Economy and Steven Bonk, Legislative Secretary to the Minister of the Economy, Bronwyn Eyre, Minister of Advanced Education, Nadine Wilson, Provincial Secretary, Cammy Colpitts, Assistant Deputy Minister of Agriculture. The Ambassador was introduced in the Legislative Assembly by Nadine Wilson. Ambassador also explored opportunities to establish future cooperation between universities. He met with Peter Stoicheff, President of the University of Saskatchewan and with various research institutes of the University of Saskatchewan. The Ambassador visited Synchotron and met with the Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce and the President of STEP. Bálint Ódor met with grade 7 students of the Living Sky School Division, North Battleford. The Ambassador gave an interview to CBC Saskatoon and Radio Canada Regina and also to Yorkton This Week.
